Maltese    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Gabriel is another example of why we hate puppy mills and backyard breeders. When the backyard breeder was 'done' with Gabriel, he brought him and a few others to a high kill shelter to get rid of them. Thankfully they were intercepted by a rescue group and now Gabriel is being fostered, getting lots of love for the first time. Gabriel is loving life and his new-found freedom! He is a purebred Maltese who is about 3 - 5 yrs old, weighs 7 lbs and he is catching on really well how to be a pampered dog. He loves to be held and loved on, but he's still a little nervous when his foster mom first goes to pick him up. Once he's being held, Gabriel ... (Read More)just melts!! He is getting better every day and loves to lay belly up, tail wagging. He is good with other dogs, although he doesn't really engage with them, and also was fine with visiting children, though he has not lived with any (and we probably will recommend a quite home life for him). Hes starting to get playful with toys and we know that in time he'll come to live life to the fullest. If you can offer Gabriel a forever home where love, patience and security fill the air, please visit www.pinkshelter.com (Less)
