Maltese    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Icee has a personality that is all her own. She loves people's attention once she knows you. She gets along with other dogs. She is this sweet little thing and looks ever so gentle. BUT if the other dogs try to take your attention away, she puts on this scary little face and attacks. She really can't do much damage but she thinks she is pretty mighty. She loves to be on your lap or at least very close. Icee is a 5 year old maltese. Icee came to us from a breeder. Her adoption fee is $$200.00. Icee can be adopted at http://www.secondchancedogrescueofiowa.com/adoption-app.html Thanks!

Rescue Me ID: 17-06-24-00137Truly (female)

Maltese Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Arthritis

Truly is a 9 year old Lhasa Apso Maltese mix. She likes to be the center of attention and is very protective of 'her person'. She recently tore her ACL and we are treating it with anti-inflammatory meds based on advice from her vet. She is currently in a home with multiple pets and kids and she has become aggressive toward them so she would like to go to a home that is more calm: adults only and preferably no other pets.
