He's a very sweet, loving little guy, and very well behaved. He's been good around the other dogs but would love a home without young children where he can live out his senior years.     Maltese Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Maltese is a beautiful, silky, long haired lap dog. Maltese are smart, devoted, playful companions. Maltese do not like to be teased by children. Housebreaking can be a challenge. Maltese do well living in apartments if they are walked every day.
