Millie and Mallorie are sister Maltese girls who came to us from a breeder. Still, they are friendly. They will be 10 years old on June 29, 2012. We did blood work on them before they were spayed and were pleased to find that they are both healthy. Millie (purple bow) and Mallorie (pink bow) do tend to hang out together. We'd love to find them a home together but if we have to separate them, they'll adjust. Both weigh 6 pounds. Millie's coat is a little thin at tail end of her back but with good nutrition, it seems to be coming back just fine. Gemma had her three puppies in a shelter and there she cared for them until we could get them here. She raised her little darlings in the comfort and safety of rescue. The puppies still aren't old enough to be adopted but Gemma is rarin' to go! We were told that she is a maltipoo and I can definitely see the maltese in her, not so sure on the poodle part. When she arrived, her coat was long but we had her groomed because she was a little matted and I think that she looks so cute in a short cut. When he was a baby, him and littermates and mother (first time mother) were put in a cage so the mother would feed them, his left leg got caught between the bars and one of his brothers landed on him. The forever home we found can't keep Buttons and Pepper, they are leaving the country so we are reposting them. Button and Pepper have been together since birth. We need to keep them together. Maltese Dogs can make good pets in Missouri if they match your IifestyIe. The Maltese is a beautiful, silky, long haired lap dog. Maltese are smart, devoted, playful companions. Maltese do not like to be teased by children. Housebreaking can be a challenge. Maltese do well living in apartments if they are walked every day.
