They fell on hard times and had to move to a smaller place which didn't allow the dogs. They are all brothers and very sweet and easy going overall. We will be ... (Read More)adopting them all out separately though.. Temperament- Update: This cute guy was recently returned after being in a home for about 8-9 months. I am not sure what happened but he came back pretty aggressive towards strangers. Upon saying that he is is still super loving and sweet with his loved ones and once he makes friends and trusts someone. The family who had adopted him said he turned aggressive all of a sudden- well we all know that that doesn't just happen. It appears that he has been badly teased and to some extent abused when he would finally react. So they basically adopted a super sweet dog and teased/abused him until he felt he had no choice but to react and become aggressive to defend himself. We are working on his issues but whoever adopts him would have to be willing to crate him when people go over. He would make a phenomenal little guard dog for someone who is scared living alone or what not and wants someone in the who they know will protect them.. This person will also need to understand that though Han Solo loves us he does not show well. Possible growl during the first interaction and so someone will have to be able to come out and spend some time with him and show him that they aren't going to hurt him. I still think he is perfect for the right person as he is a super loving, sweet, playful, and very loyal dog once he trusts you not to be mean or hurt him. We have also now found since being in a foster home that once properly introduced he loves new friends that his foster family approves us. Of course once he loves you then it is hard to imagine him ever being mean to anyone. Energy Level- Average- he loves to cuddle and watch tv but also loves playing with soft toys and going for walks. Dogs/Cats- Gets along with all the other dogs and cats. Housetrained- House trained and crate trained This sweet little boy is a doll.. He was perfect for shaving and adjusted the quickest to being in the rescue.. He loves attention and will make a wonderful addition to any family willing to gain his trust. He would do wonderful joining a family who wants a small guard dog in the house to cuddle with and be protected. He is super smart, is a good judge of character, wonderful protector, and just an amazing little boy who would blossom in the perfect home.. Adoption fee $150 includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
