Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Meet Gidget. Gidget is a 9-month-old Morkie. She enjoys meeting everyone. . . dogs, cats, men, women, and children. Gidget is a gentle soul who had a leg injury prior to being surrendered by her owners. The vet felt surgery would correct the problem, but Gidget will need time to trust that the leg won't hurt when she uses it. She is currently doing very well in therapy. Therapy consists of long walks, swimming, and massage. The kennel is good for Gidget because she is still a puppy. Her foster home wouldn't trust her to run the entire house because she could get into trouble. They have a rather large area for her to roam, but when ... (Read More)they aren't home, she stays in her kennel. She is happy there and goes to the kennel to nap. That's a good thing. Gidget is learning basic commands and to walk on a leash. She is super smart and learns quickly. During her walks, her foster mom has learned that Gidget is afraid to walk near sewer drains so they are avoided to keep her focused on learning and to help her feel safe. If Gidget needs to potty she'll let you know, but take her out right away because she can't wait! She has excellent house manners, barks only when someone comes to the door, and is so happy to greet anyone who enters the home. Gidget is definitely not a guard dog. If you have any questions, please contact the foster home at the link found at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Dogs_Gidget1715.html. Fill out an application if you are interested in adopting this pup - you can find those at http://puppypalsrescue.com/Applications.html. (Email the foster home and let them know you applied so they can be sure the application is received!) Gidget just can't wait to find a forever home! Thanks!!! (Less)

http://www.wolfspiritsrescue.com/animals/detail?AnimalID=9178857 (--- My web page to learn more about me Nelson is back in OH and will be going in on Nov 9th for another dental cleaning probably with extractions again. Poor little guy won't have many teeth left. He could use a sponsor to help pay for his dental. Nelson had his dental yesterday His second since he has been in rescue. Yesterday had to have the remaining teeth removed so he has no teeth now. He's doing well...........friendly, happy and active. He eats very well! His only issue is housebreaking, which he just doesn't seem to understand. He does use pee ... (Read More)pads.. It takes him awhile to settle down in a lap for a cuddle and he's a little wary of strangers, but not for long. Sweet little Nelson is a timid boy with so much love to give! He was very matted and underweight when he was rescued, but his fluffy white coat is growing back nicely following his emergency 'haircut' and he's starting to put on some much needed weight. Nelson is making friends with the other dogs in his foster home and is very curious about the kitty! He is still nervous about being picked up but sooooo happy when he realizes that is means he's going outside or spendingtime cuddling on a lap! He loves to run around in a fenced yard and is learning to come when he is called, and he is excited about going for walks on a leash but needs to learn some leash manners. A home without small children or big dogs (though older, respectful children and doggie playmates close to his own size would be fine), and he needs to have a securely fenced yard where he can be free to run and play!
