**Due to the large volume of inquiries we receive, we will not be able to respond to emails or phone calls until an adoption application has been submitted first.** Tony is a special 6 year old, Maltese/Shih Tzy mix. Tony was dumped at the shelter by his previous owners so now he is ready to find a home where he is loved! Tony does well with other dogs, but really needs a quiet environment with no cats or children and perhaps with someone who is home a lot. He is neutered, chipped and up to date on his vaccinations. Sweet Tony is ready for his forever home! All of our dogs are currently in foster homes. We require interested adopters to first fill out an application for adoption before we can answer any inquiries. The application is on our website: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity and an all volunteer rescue. Our volunteers dedicate all their hours to finding the best loving home for each dog. **We update our listings minutes after dogs have been adopted, so if a dog is still listed, they are still waiting to meet their forever family!** (Less)

Meet Cooper Reed! I am a happy guy and my tail wags a mile a minute! I am a adorable 2 yr old, 13 pound, neutered Border Terrier Maltese mix. My adoption fee is $575. I am a sweet happy boy I do a little pony hop when I get excited and I love people. My temperament is easy going, mellow, and sweet but I do have times where I am ready to play. I am a little fearful of loud voices. I will follow my person around and like 'one on one' attention with my person. I walk well on a leash and will happily go with you on a walk or an errand. My life was spared from a high kill shelter in CA. by a wonderful rescue. I am so happy to be alive. I enjoy spending time with my person. I am a little thin as my past life was not the best, but nothing good nutrition can take care of. I am a healthy pup! I am crate trained, and low-shedding - and need to be groomed every 8 weeks to make sure that I stay dapper. I like snuggling with the other dogs at my foster home. My foster family think I am the sweetest guy ever. I will need a fully fenced yard, and I am hoping that I find a family that has a dog that I can be friends with. I am a young dog, I have moderate to low puppy-energy and will need exercise every day. A doggy obedience class is desired to master recall and bonding and develop good manners. I would enjoy a family that is semi-active or that has a dog that I can play and be pals with. I would also be fine solo with daycare or playmates. My adoption fee is $575. My adoption fee will go to save other dogs at the high-kill shelters in California and is fully tax deduction (my Rescue, 6dogrees Rescue is a 501c3), and will provide a donation receipt. I am fostered North of Seattle, and if interested please submit an online adoption application at www.6dogrees.com and we will review and get back to you promptly. An adoption application must be filled out for all inquiries and prior to a meet and greet. We will review and respond to applications, not all applications will necessarily be approved for a meet and greet. Home check prior to adoption approval. Adoption fee include: Neuter or spay, microchip, current vaccines (DA2PP, rabies, bordatella) de-worming, flea treatment, and heart worm testing. We also include a 15 minute training consultation with a certified behaviorist trainer and 30-day pet insurance. 6dogrees Rescue is a small passionate Seattle based 501c3 non-profit charitable organization that focuses on saving the lives of urgent dogs on their last hours at high kill shelters from the state of California where pet overpopulation is at epidemic levels and kill shelters are the norm. 100% of all fees collected are spent on the dogs, we 'Save it forward'; so each time a dog is adopted we are allowed to save another. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and are in place to allow thorough care for the dogs. 6dogrees adoptions are limited to residents of Washington State. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 16-02-15-00710Bubba (male)|
Hi! My name is Bubba and I am a young, active Maltese mix patiently awaiting a home of my own. Being a young buck, I love to run around the house and play, having a great time and bringing lots of joy to the entire household. This means I wear myself out too, so I really enjoy evening cuddle time with my family. My foster home says I am sweet, smart, and active. I get along great with children, and I have not been around cats. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, and will be microchipped before going home with you. Yet another benefit of adopting a dog that is a couple years old is the fact that I am house broken and crate trained! I have some skin allergies which the rescue is helping me with, so a perfect home for me will include someone willing to continue this treatment. My adoption fee is $300. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay and neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org and fill out an adoption application. One of our adoption coordinators will review your application, and then contact you. Our adoption process includes an in person home check which you will need to complete before we set up an appointment to meet this dog or any of the other dogs in our rescue.
