I am a sweet happy boy I do a little pony hop when I get excited and I love people. My temperament is easy going, mellow, and sweet but I do have times where I am ready to play. Rescue Me ID: 16-03-14-00332Maya (female)

Maltese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Very High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current, Fearful/Anxious

Please text me 360 389 8407 regarding Maya. She is a lovely sweet, VERY intuitive dog, that needs a lot of attention. She should be the only dog in the household to be truly relaxed and happy. i rescued her a couple of years ago and she is too high strung for my older dog. I will be VERY very selective. She loves the attention of children. She is now crate trained. I would want to meet the family and do a home visit and maybe a trial before rehoming.

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-15-00710Bubba (male)

Maltese Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Vaccinations Current

Hi! My name is Bubba and I am a young, active Maltese mix patiently awaiting a home of my own. Being a young buck, I love to run around the house and play, having a great time and bringing lots of joy to the entire household. This means I wear myself out too, so I really enjoy evening cuddle time with my family. My foster home says I am sweet, smart, and active. I get along great with children, and I have not been around cats. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, and will be microchipped before going home with you. Yet another benefit of adopting a dog that is a couple years old is the fact that I am house broken and crate trained! ... (Read More)I have some skin allergies which the rescue is helping me with, so a perfect home for me will include someone willing to continue this treatment. My adoption fee is $300. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay and neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes. This fee also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes. If you think you might have the right home for me, please visit the Valhalla Canine Rescue website at www.valhallarescue.org and fill out an adoption application. One of our adoption coordinators will review your application, and then contact you. Our adoption process includes an in person home check which you will need to complete before we set up an appointment to meet this dog or any of the other dogs in our rescue. Rescue Me ID: 15-11-12-00896Diesel (male)

Maltese Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered

Hi! My name is Diesel and I am the cutest little cuddle bug you will ever meet. I LOVE to follow my people and other dogs around all day long. In fact, I am just like a shadow and pretty much under foot at all times, unless it is time to cuddle. If it is cuddle time, you will find me just as close to you as I can possibly get! I do fine with kids and cats, but older kids are probably better since younger kids may accidentally step on me when I am playing my shadow game. A very kind Good Samaritan found me dragging myself around a parking lot, and they brought me to a rescue that asked Valhalla Canine Rescue to take me in. I am doing GREAT at ... (Read More)Valhalla, and I am enjoying being a puppy with all the other puppies around this exciting place. I sure would love a home of my own though. Do you think I would fit in with your family? The kind folks at the rescue consulted with my vet, and everyone thinks the reason I walk a little bit funny is due to an old, untreated hip injury that did not heal properly. It does not slow me down, but I would probably due best in a home with limited stairs. My adoption fee is $275. My adoption fee allows Valhalla Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay and neuter services) for dogs like me while we look for our forever homes.
