Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Bonded with Smokey, must be adopted together. YES, I'M AVAILABLE! Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APP before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thanks for your cooperation!****** Flora is 2 years old and 12.5 lbs of love. We pulled her from a high kill shelter where she clearly needed out, she was so deathly sick. She ended up staying at our vets for 17 days being treated for pneumonia, she was given multiple antibiotics, breathing treatments, she was given many x-ray's to constantly monitor how the pneumonia was doing. Now she is back here with us and will be ready to go to her new home on the 16/17th ... (Read More)of Sept. She is so super sweet and loving. She gets along great with other dogs and loved having a bath. After her bath, she just sat in our lap and let her give her attention and some brushing. When we got her, she was absolutely covered in flea dirt and matted. We would like Smokey and Flora to be adopted together, they came from the same shelter, we got them out at the same time, and they might have come from the same home. They are being fostered in the same home and we really love seeing the love between the two of them! They would also do best if people were home during the day. She is spayed, chipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. The recovery time for pneumonia is 2 months and she cannot undergo anesthesia for 6 months no matter what the reason, unless it is to save their life. If they do, it can trigger pneumonia again. Like most dogs in our rescue, Flora will need work on potty training. Flora has an adoption fee of $550 __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. (Less)

Marie Antoinette was one of many royals and famous people to have owned Maltese.
